I worked for Medical Device Development for one 4-month rotation in 2019-2020. With one other employee and our director, we planned and executed a study on knee biomechanics which was carried out over the course of 2 weeks of rigorous testing with our study partner, Olympus-Terumo biomedical. For this project, we built test fixtures to hold cadaver knees and determine the stability of the knee post-operation.
